Experience
Marah Shamir Castro has great passion in Dermatology and Aesthetics. Ever since, she begun her career as a nurse, she knew that she will be specializing in this field. She values three major things that helped her build her career throughout the years. First is, being an outcome oriented towards her patients treatment. She ensures to give informative, proven and beneficial treatments for patients. She is values evidenced based practice as the core of her nursing practice. She ensures that people or patients receive high quality standards of care.
She has over ten years of dermatology nursing practice. She is a nurse expert in various Laser treatment modalities addressing clinical skin concerns such as, Melasma, PIH, and severe acne scars. In addition, She has vast experience in Laser hair removal treatment, tattoo removal, skin resurfacing and micro needling procedure. She has extensive experience and trainings in medical facials, aesthetics procedures and chemical peeling.
She worked with renowned clinical dermatologists in the UAE and learned first hand from their experiences. She has knowledge in developing policies and standard operating procedures. She is teaching fundamentals of Laser Physics and laser applications in She develops business proposals for a clinic and training academy for Dermatology and Aesthetic procedures. She writes academic essays related to nursing management and clinical practice.
