About Lauren
I am a registered nurse by trade with a passion for helping others. I have worked in various health care settings as a registered nurse, including rehabilitation nursing and pediatric nursing. I most recently went from a clinical nursing position to an informatics position where I get to help the end user by optimizing the electronic medical record (EMR) to make their job of serving patients easier.
In addition to nursing, I have a passion for writing and always have. I have combined my two passions and am now a healthcare content writer. I enjoy taking healthcare topics that I am an expert in and transforming them into words and pieces that the everyday person can read and digest.
